- If you think it noble, you can always return the ring to your ex.
Trading Memories for Cash
After the divorce, you may not be emotionally attached to the ring, or you may be concerned that a new sweetheart wouldn't want to be reminded of it. If either applies to you, or if you find yourself in need of cash, you can always sell the wedding ring.
If you decide to sell it, be sure to get an appraisal first. Then, all you have to do is choose if you want to sell it on eBay, eBid, or through the newspaper, Craigslist, or to a friend.
